A striking and excellent large combination piece from the famous mines at Naica. Over one-half of the plate is covered with lustrous, jet-black, sphalerite crystals to 2.2 cm. Complimentary, sparkly, golden, chalcopyrites are richly scattered about. The vuggy right side has beautiful sprays of glassy quartz points, some of which are entrancing, blush-purple amethyst crystals. Very fine combination material from this locale. Valued at $500.
