Classic and sculptural large combination material from the historic mines at Trepca. Two clusters of splendent, jet-black twinned sphalerite crystals aesthetically surround the mounded matrix of intergrown brassy pyritohedrons. Scattered clusters of small quartz points with fluorescent pink calcite are a typical accessory and fine contrast. The bruised back is out-of-sight. This very showy large piece has pristine 270-degree viewability with every turn presenting a different perspective and displays well without aid. Ex Paul Zerfass Collection # 453.
