Item Description

Twinned, highly lustrous, dark brown to jet-black sphalerite rest on splendent, blocky galena from the famous mines at Naica. The large sphalerite crystal is 3.5 cm. The sphalerites are in great shape and the galena on the back is cleaved. Showy, two-sided and very rich zinc and lead sulfide ore! Ex Consie Prince Collection.
