Here is another really cute and aesthetic Elmwood miniature from the Consie Prince Collection. A splendent, 2.2 cm, complex sphalerite crystal is jauntily set on wedge of dolomite matrix. The complete all-around crystal has extremely interesting form and beautiful, gemmy, rubyjack flashes. Tiny doubly terminated, amber calcites scattered on the dolomite are a very nifty accent. The sphalerite is nearly pristine, with only a tiny bit of barely noticeable sidewear on one corner. For a single Elmwood sphalerite miniature on matrix, this is really good.
