Emplaced on a sugary, white matrix of dolomite are hundreds of splendent, "ruby jack" sphalerite crystals, to 7 mm across. When the specimen is lit the viewer can easily discern the red internal highlights. Not a significant sphalerite for size of xls, but jsut a BEAUTIFUL specimen overall, as a display piece! old material ex Mullane collection
