Item Description
Classic, sharp, triangular, lustrous, jet-black sphalerite crystals form a showy and excellent mounded specimen from the famous Picher Field of the Tri-State District. The compound crystals reach 2.3 cm and have nifty stepped-growth faces. A couple of small calcite crystals at the top add character. Old-time material from Oklahoma and the noted George Feist Collection #3081. Highly representative material for the species and locality.
