Item Description

A very showy and rich sphalerite miniature from this well-known quarry and the Robert Nowakowski Collection. Lustrous, translucent, golden-amber crystals richly and attractively cover the bit of matrix. These look like orpiment from Peru or Nevada, but it's sphalerite! Beautiful and choice material. Collected in May, 2014, according to Robert's label.
