Item Description

A wonderful small cabinet sized display quality specimen from the Septemvri Mine (9th of September Mine) featuring dozens of very sharp, highly lustrous, well-formed crystals of Sphalerite measuring up to 7 mm associated with thin prismatic Quartz crystals on matrix. The Sphalerite crystals might appear black on the surface, but with a bit of backlighting you can see beautiful golden, orange and green hues inside! The are also incredibly smooth and fine quality in person. The piece is in good condition with very little damage. Classic material from one of the most famous localities in Bulgaria.
