A beautiful and classic miniature sized display specimen of the highly sought after green Sphalerites from Mont Saint-Hilaire. These specimens are some of the most easily recognized Sphalerites from any locality with their distinct coloring, well-formed crystals and the unique associations. You can see all sides of this particular specimen feature gemmy, attractive sharp Sphalerites measuring up to 2.1 cm on edge that range in color from a lovely yellow-green to an almost semi-metallic silvery-green hue. A few prismatic black crystals of Aegirine make for a nice touch. This particular color and style are what I would say the most desirable from MSH, and the crystals are VERY godo sized. It is now quite difficult to obtain specimens from this locality as collecting has been limited / reduced in recent years, so if you collect minerals from this world famous quarry, don't miss out on this attractive specimen.
