Sphalerite (fine gemmy twins) with Galena

A big showy and frankly hard to find specimen from the Dongxiang Cu-polymetallic Deposit in China featuring many sharp, lustrous well-formed, deep honey colored twinned crystals of Sphalerite measuring up to 1.5 cm across, associated with dark grey colored cuboctahedral crystals of Galena along with little nearly black crystals of Bornite, plus minor metallic golden Pyrite sitting a layer of little Quartz crystals on matrix. When the Sphalerites are backlit, they GLOW with color, as they have excellent internal gemminess when backlit. Most of the crystals are undamaged, though I can see one cleaved face on one of the Sphalerites. A beautiful cabinet sized display specimen that would make a great addition to a sulfide suite, a collection of Chinese minerals, or a general Sphalerite suite.
