Sphalerite (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A very good representative Sphalerite from the famous Eagle mine in Colorado. The crystals show sharp, modified tetrahedral form and a lustrous jet black appearance. It is a good reference specimen, and would make a fine addition to a Colorado suite, or even more specifically, a Colorado suite of sulfides. From the Rich Kosnar collection. Mounted in a small plastic micro box, with Rich's hand-written label on the lid.
