Item Description
An outstanding display specimen of Sphalerite from the famous Idarado mine. The crystals show very sharp, tetrahedral form (with minor modifications) with a lustrous jet black appearance. It would make a fine addition to a Colorado suite, or even more specifically, a San Juan mineral suite. The specimen was collected by Clancy Fleetwood (Brian Kosnar's great-grandfather) in August of 1970 and comes from the famous Colorado mineral collection of Richard Kosnar. Valued at $950.
