Item Description

A sharp, lustrous, translucent sphalerite crystal with a golden-green hue to it, perched in classic Westfield matrix of quartz and prehnite. Sphalerite is rare for this locality and this is a beautiful specimen, as well. UNUSUAL! A rare historic specimen. ex Philadelphia Academy of Sciences collection (which sold, but probably should not have been sold, under strange circumstances awhile ago)
