Bulgaria is probably the best active region producing gem quality Sphalerite in the world right now. Some of the best gem quality green, yellow and orange Sphalerite in the world is found in the Madan Region of Bulgaria. This particular gem is a good sized, golden color gem with a "Pear" cut. This stone has some slight visible inclusions. The stone is not "murky", and keep in mind it is difficult to obtain a Sphalerite from Bulgaria with good green color.
