Item Description

Highly lustrous, twinned, jet-black sphalerite crystals with pronounced stepped-growth faces on this outstanding specimen from this noted Balkan locality. The sphalerites are dramatically accented with sugary, cream-colored dolomite and lustrous, light pink, manganoan calcite rhombs are studded on top of the dolomite knob. Excellent and uncommon combo material from this well-known district from the Howard Belsky Collection.
