Item Description
A very attractive, well-balanced combo specimen from Peru, where the lustrous, striated, and dark Sphalerite is complemented beautifully by a single, brassy Chalcopyrite surrounded by euhedral, silvery Galena. The 1.4 cm Chalcopyrite sits right in the middle of the 2 cm Galena, and both rest on the 3 cm Sphalerite! Stark contrast of form and color makes this a nice miniature that stands out from other pieces from the Huaron district. Beauty in simplicity.
