Sphalerite cast after Calcite w/ Fluorite, Galena & Mn-Calcite

A dramatic and rare casted specimen from Naica. Sphalerite has casted a large calcite rhomb! The outer and inner walls are festooned with sphalerite, manganaon calcite (fluorescent) and galena crystals. Nicely perched in the interior of the cast are clusters of very glassy, light green, stepped-growth fluorite cubes. For the pseudo/casted specialist or locality collector, this is a one-off stunner. Fine material from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection # 1149. Probably 1970s-1980s vintage. Valued at $200-300.
