Intergrown, highly lustrous, twinned, jet-black sphalerite crystals nicely accented with three clusters of glassy, translucent, rounded, stepped-growth calcite rhombs and three small pods of pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs form a showy and excellent combination piece from this historic mine at Trepca. Periphery wear is noted, but is minimally detracting from this classic combination piece. Orange-pink calcite fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
