Item Description

This is a really attractive piece of the iconic specimens from the Cacilia Mine. Small sparkling gemmy golden-orange Sphalerites and metallic golden Chalcopyrite crystals are dotting link pink Dolomite rhombohedra on a layer of translucent green Fluorite. The Sphalerites and Chalcopyrites are small, but look beautiful up close. Good quality all around, and highly desirable on the market. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3618). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
