Sharp, lustrous, jet-black, twinned sphalerite crystals are festooned on matrix on this impressive large mounded specimen from the famous Commodore Mine at Creede. Richly scattered, sharp, golden, partially iridescent chalcopyrite sphenoids are a classic compliment to this excellent large combination. This fine combination displays well from multiple angles and is either from the old 1960s hoard released in 2002 or from the newer find in 2004.
