Item Description
Dozens of gemmy, orange-red crystals of Spessartine to 0.5 cm are isolated on EUHEDRAL crystals of Albite (which makes the specimen much more attractive than if they were sitting on a clunky, shapeless matrix). The trapezohedral Spessartine crystals are distributed nicely across the piece, and they are complemented by the Smoky Quartz, Mica, and, of course, the Albite. The Albites and Smokies average over 2 cm in size, and the entire cluster is actually growing on a single, stout Schorl crystal. The piece is very attractive, and it is a good, representative combination piece not only for Pakistan, but any locality. valued $500
