Item Description

Sparkling, gemmy, pretty rich cinnamon-orange spessartine garnet crystals and very glassy, lustrous, gemmy smoky quartz crystals are richly peppered on the sculptural, large mounded feldspar matrix on this this impressive, rich and classic combination from the well-known Wushan Spessartine Mine. The garnets reach 6 mm and are sprinkled on both the matrix and the prism faces of the smokies. The smokies reach 3.2 cm and the lustrous stepped-growth faces add much character. The interior is pristine on this very attractive and rich large example of the combination species and noted locale. Both sides display well on this excellent piece.
