Spessartine, Schorl & Albite ex Obodda

Item Description

Spessartine specimens are rare from this more obscure Pakistan locale. A 1.1 cm, partially gemmy, rich cherry-red crystal is elegantly perched on the termination of a highly lustrous, 4.1 cm, schorl crystal. The crystals are nicely framed by the matrix of snow-white albite and quartz fragments. Showy, excellent and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Older material, valued by Herb at $300, more than 10 years ago.
