Spessartine Garnet is one of the most popular species of Garnet for both gem and mineral collectors. This rough and cut set comprises a lovely display specimen of Spessartine featuring a pronounced, striated, sharp, lustrous, modified trapezohedral crystal with a deep red color sitting on Quartz and Albite matrix. This specimen is from a locality called Teston in Gilgit-Baltistan (Northern Areas), Pakistan The gemstone is a gorgeous blood-red hue with a lovely "Brilliant "Oval" cut and virtually flawless clarity. The stone is from Tanzania. A great rough and cut set of this beloved Garnet species. Valued at $2500 together.
