Mineral specimens of ANY species are RARE from the pegmatites of this obscure Arizona locale. A super-sharp, lustrous, 1.5 cm, spessartine is nicely set in matrix on this rare cutie. The crystal is a dodecahedron beveled by trapezohedral faces. The crystal is mostly opaque, but a few tiny spots of cherry-red translucence are noted under bright light. Valued by the former dealer at $295. A MUST for the Arizona or species collector.
