An attrctive small cabinet sizped specimen featuring deep orange-red color, gemmy / translucent, lustrous, well-formed, dodecahedral Spessartine crystals measuring up to 8 mm which are sitting beautifully on white Albite and Microcline matrix. For Garnet collectors, this is an attractive Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. Good quality all around, and not nearly as common on the market as they used to be.
