Spessartine on Albite & Smoky Quartz

Gemmy and lustrous, beautiful cherry-red, spesartine garnets to 1.2 cm are richly and aesthetically strewn on the sculptural matrix of muscovite-coated, euhedral albite crystals and glassy, light smoky quartz crystals from the Shigar Valley of Pakistan. The major spessartines are in good shape. A few dinged, smaller spessartines and modest periphery wear to the albites and smokies are noted, but are minimal detractions, overall. Highly representative combination material and the spessartines definitely have above average gemminess and luster for the locale.
