Item Description
Gemmy/translucent, sharp spesartine garnet trapezohedrons aesthetically set on a euhedral albite crystal nicely accented with a "flag" of quartz and pearlescent muscovite plates makes for an exceptional combination from Shengus. The very glassy spessartines are reddish-orange to deep wine-red under low light conditions, but GLOW cherry-red when backlit! The garnets reach 1.2 cm. Choice and excellent combination material from the Bill Larson & his Pala International Garnet Collection - which was long on the display at the Fallbrook store, in San Diego area.
