A few rich orange-red color, gemmy / translucent, lustrous, well-formed, striated dodecahedral Spessartine crystals measuring up to 8 mm sit on a matrix of crystallized slight bluish-white colored blocky crystals of Albite. For Garnet collectors, this is an attractive Fe-rich Spessartine specimen, and the pieces from Shengus are among the best red Spessartines in the world. Good quality and attractive up close.
