Item Description
A lovely piece featuring sharp, lustrous, wine-red, gemmy, trapezohedral Spessartine crystals sitting on slightly curved "porcelain"-esque Albite with minor Smoky Quartz. The largest Spessartine measures 4 mm. For Garnet collectors, this is a nice specimen, and a fairly worthwhile piece of this well-known material. Despite the fact that these pieces are fairly well-known on the market, they are some of the very few red Spessartines available these days from any locality.
