A unique and very aesthetic combination specimen from this obscure Pakistan locale - Raikot. A striking headdress of vertical, pearlescent, muscovite plates crowns the piece and cascades down one side. Incredibly well-set clusters of lustrous, gemmy, cherry-red to orange spessartines to 1.2 cm are artistically set in front of the headdress and beautifully scattered among muscovites on the starkly contrasting blocky albite matrix. Pristine. Very choice and rare combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $500, more than five years ago. It is certainly worth more today.
