Item Description
A good cluster of highly lustrous and partially gemmy (when backlit) Garnet crystals from Aggeneys, South Africa. These Garnets, not quite perfectly formed, have a distinct cinnamon fire to them, and the largest crystal is 1.4 cm across. The Spessartines rest on a matrix composed primarily of Quartz and Chalcopyrite. A quality, representative specimen from an infrequently seen locality.
