Item Description
A highly aesthetic and fine quality association specimen from Shengus featuring nearly two dozen superb, very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, rich wine red colored, trapezohedral crystals of Spessartine Garnet measuring up to 1.1 cm which are associated with white "rosettes" of Albite and minor Quartz sitting on blocky cream colored crystals of Microcline. The piece sits beautiful on its own without the aid of base or clay. Nearly every Garnet crystal is pristine and the smaller crystals GLOW with color when backlit. A wonderful three-dimensional display piece of this a classic material from the important locale in Pakistan. Keep in mind, it's not terribly common to find such sharp and lustrous Garnet crystals like this on Feldspar from any world locality, especially with crystals over 1 cm. Valued at $1,500 in the inventory.
