Rich burnt-orange color on this lustrous, translucent imposing large asymmetric modified spessartine garnet trapezohedron from the well-known 2007-2008 finds in Tanzania. The attached pearlescent muscovite is a rare accessory, as most crystals were floaters. The crystal GLOWS, when backlit. A fine larger example. 67 grams mass. Valued at $750-1000.
