Item Description
Gemmy and lustrous, raspberry-red, spesartine garnets of this quality are rare from any Norway locality and especially from this uncommon locality. The two, sharp, translucent, crystals to 1.4 cm, are nicely set on starkly contrasting platy, splendent, biotite schist matrix. Ex West Parker Collection.
