Spessartine Garnet & Smoky Quartz on Microcline

Item Description

Gemmy, cinnamon-orange, spessartines to 5 mm are richly and attractively peppered on the blocky microcline crystal matrix and are beautifully complimented by water-clear, glassy, smoky quartz crystals with fine color. The large smoky is 3.2 cm. The primary smokies are in great shape, with the trivial bit of termination edge wear to the large smoky being out-of-sight. Broken smokies on the periphery are noted. The back and two edges have been sawed to enhance the display quality. This remains an aesthetic and very showy combination specimen from this now-closed locale.
