Item Description
An adorable smoky quartz and spessartine garnet small cabinet combination from earlier finds at the well-known Wushan Mine at Tongbei. Four gemmy smoky quartz crystals with rich color, high luster and striated faces are artistically set on the sculptural feldspar matrix. Gem cinnamon-orange spessartine garnets are peppered on both the matrix and the smokies. The striking upright smoky is 3.0 tall and is water-clear. You can see the garnets behind the crystal. The horizontal smoky is 4.0 cm long. Ex Hefendehl Collection, so this dates it to the older material from the original Wushan Mine, circa early 2000s vintage. A beautifully composed and well-balanced combination from the locale!
