A showy,rich and aesthetic two-sided combination plate from recent Chinese finds. Translucent, light smoky, terminated quartz crystals with frosted faces, to 2.3 cm, are nicely scattered on the flat side covered with scintillating gem cinnamon-orange spessartine garnet trapezohedrons. The sculptural undulating other side is covered with even gemmier garnets, that have striking flashes of yellow-orange fire! You don't see many around anymore.
