A cute small cabinet combination from this well-known Chinese locale. Beautiful, sparkling, gemmy, striated cinnamon-orange spessartine garnet crystals cover the sculptural, mounded microcline crystal matrix. A glassy, lustrous, translucent, 3.0 cm, terminated smoky quartz crystal aesthetically set on one side of the piece is a fine and typical accessory. The piece displays well without aid. Ex Cook Collection. We feel very lucky to have picked up the large collection of Bill and Anne Cook of Cleveland, recently. It is a tribute to their long efforts, how many interesting minerals and old localities were preserved and carefully labelled so you can see them now. Bill and Anne collected for at least 60 years.
