Two generations of gemmy and lustrous spessartine garnets cover the undulating surface of sharp microcline crystals on this showy combination plate from China. The scattered, larger, cinnamon-orange, dodecahedrons, to 7 mm rest on an earlier generation of scintillating, yellow-orange crystals. Classic and excellent combination material from this locale, that displays well from either side. There are more garnets on the back, as a bonus! We have recently heard, that this locale is now officially closed. So the price will go up on fine quality specimens.
