Exemplary example of the famous, and highly sought-after, Spessartine Garnet on Feldspar from Tongbei. These are classic for the species, especially when the complex crystals are this quality. The Garnets average 3-4 mm across, and they are GEMMY! The amber-orange color is eyecatching, with a striated luster that is nothing less than superb. The Spessartines completely cover the presentation surface of the Feldspar, which was removed by the lower surface. Aesthetic and sparkling, it is even better in person.
