Spessartine Garnet on and in Smoky Quartz (w/ gem garnets inside!)

RARE included spessartine garnets are clearly visible in the termination of the impressive upright smoky quartz crystal on this impactful and aesthetic older combination from Tongbei. Gemmy cinnamon-orange to golden-orange spessartine garnet trapezohedrons, to 5 mm, are strikingly, preferentially peppered on the light smoky quartz crystal striated prism faces and on the feldspar matrix on this sculptural and very showy 360-degree small cabinet from the Wushan Mine. The dominating upright smoky has a water-clear termination above the translucent body. The three termination faces on the front are glass-clear, allowing you to see the included spessartines in the termination. The three rear faces are preferentially frosted. The large smoky has only a trivial termination wilber. Little, if any new material has come out in the last five years. Get an exceptional, included combination, when you can. Every turn presents a different perspective to this fine classic. Valued at $1500-2500. this is ol dmaterial from the early 2000s mining era here. It is now gone. This came from teh family collection of the miners. It is SUPERB, mesmerizing in person. Lost in our back room for years. ..now surfacing again.
