Spessartine Garnet on Albite with Quartz

Bright red spessartine garnets to 7mm are perched on albite and quartz matrix, on this classic from the Tongbei deposit, from the early 2000's. There are dozens of crystals, all like little gem disco balls! They have superb form and unusually good isolation compared to the ususal jumbled plates. This is a large plate for the price, as I am sure it will go for less in Auction than it would cost me in China at this point, now, so many years later!
