Item Description
Unusually transparent, gem, cherry-red, spessartine garnets to 1.3 cm are aesthetically scattered on the starkly contrasting albit matrix on this very showy and excellent specimen from the Shigar Valley. The crystals have textbook trapezohedral form. The gemminess of these spessartines is way above average for the locale.
