A 2.0 cm, sharp, lustrous, very dark red spessartine garnet with flashes of gemmy, red fire is very aesthetically perched atop rhyolite matrix on this exceptional specimen from a very uncommon Nevada locale - Garnet Hill, White Pine County. Spessartines from this locale are rare and are very rarely on the market. Older material from the 1960s or 70s from the Mullane Collection. Valued $400-500
