Item Description

Spessartines are rare from this less well-known Brazilian state. Two, gorgeous, gem, rich orange, spessartines are nicely set on the albite matrix partially and attractively covered by carnation-pink, microcrystalline, lepidolite. The large dodecahedron is 5 mm and they have lightly frosted faces. Rare and showy material. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and purchased in 1981.
