Gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, cinnamon-orange, spessartine garnets are festooned on the large, undulating knobby feldspar matrix plate on this striking, sculptural, boot-shaped specimen from Tongbei. The glassy, transparent, partially garnet-covered smoky quartz points (to 3.2 cm) are a super accent. Pristine, except for very trivial periphery wear. A fine, scintillating large example with outstanding combination coverage and sculptural aesthetics. The back and three sides have been sawed to enhance the considerable display quality. The piece displays well without aid.
