These attractive and fine quality Spessartines are some of the most highly displayable and iconic specimens to come out of any Chinese locality. This lovely little toenail features many lustrous, well-formed, gemmy, rich reddish-orange trapezohedrons measuring up to 6 mm associated sitting on cream colored Microcline matrix. Very little damage (only a few small imperfections), and fun to view up close. The color in the Spessartine crystals is very attractive, and they are not at all dull or pitted. A really nice piece of this material which is becoming less and less available on the market. Keep in mind that there are only a few worldwide localities that produce this color of Spessartine in fine matrix specimens.
