Item Description

A nice representative specimen of the well-known Garnet Hill material from Nevada. This small cabinet / large miniature features a single, sharp, well-formed, nearly black (very dark red) trapezohedron of Spessartine measuring 1.1 mm sitting atop pink colored volcanic matrix. This piece came to us from a good friend who lives in the area near Garnet Hill and dropped by the locality to do some field collecting.
