Item Description
Spessartine Garnets on Feldspar, from Tongbei, are famous and highly sought-after. Tongbei Spessartines are classic for the species, and this is a very good representative specimen for this great locality. The largest of these gemmy Garnets is 8 mm across! The burnt-orange color is eyecatching, with a very good luster that is finely striated. The Spessartines cover 95% of the presentation surface of the Feldspar, which was removed by the lower surface. Aesthetic and sparkling, it is even better in person.
